Tijuana Design Week is a community-led annual design festival that creates opportunities for interdisciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration through talks, exhibitions, networking, and public events across a city in constant transformation. TJDW fosters open dialogue around the role of design in addressing individual and collective challenges, while celebrating creative communities shaped by cultural and geographic intersections. The initiative showcases diverse design disciplines — from graphic and industrial design to architecture, art, and craft — and highlights their contributions to sustainability, innovation, and the creative economy. As it evolves, TJDW is expanding its focus toward education and climate-conscious practices, positioning itself as a platform for learning, experimentation, and inclusive growth within and beyond rapidly transforming urban regions.
