Long description

Tangible Climate Data Lab: From Data to Action is a participatory space to explore how physical representations of climate data can drive awareness, creativity, and action. At the center is a rotating sculpture built from NASA’s global temperature records (1880–2024), crafted with sustainable materials. Installed at the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid, the lab tests how tactile, visual, and performative approaches can foster deeper climate engagement. Around this centerpiece, we activate dance performances, educational labs for teenagers, and an Art-a-thon that invites artists to respond creatively. The goal is to move beyond visualizing the problem — and into prototyping how tangible data can become a tool for collaborative climate transformation.
