Long description

SDI is a systemic design-based model that addresses innovation and system complexity by integrating systems theory with design knowledge and practice.

Adressing the “System’s Wicked Dynamics (WD)”; the neglection of naturally emerging self-renewal properties, SDI provides a pathway for SMEs, NGOs, and other Profit-Benefit organizations, who lack the resources or expertise to bridge the innovation gap.

Formed through partnerships and self-organization strategies, the model transforms unsustainable innovation into a dynamic and holistic process that encourages the evolution of organizations’ innovation mindsets, fostering systemic benefit and redefining profit toward long-term resilience.

Through scalable and feasible strategies, SDI builds the essential capacities needed to foster self-innovating systems across key areas:

  1. Awareness: Clarifying flows and analyzing patterns to reveal the dynamics of Wicked Systems.
  2. Collaboration: Nurturing collective, shared-responsibility interventions and redefining value to re-frame Wicked Problems.
  3. Transformation: Driving the systemic evolution of innovation culture to transcend Wicked Innovation.
