Nanoshroom is a science-led  company,  operating within the bioeconomy framework. We are committed to innovate materials which practically generates no waste and reintegrate into nature.

The food packaging industry heavily relies on plastic and paper, both of which harm the environment—through fossil fuel extraction and deforestation. Despite rising demand for alternatives, truly sustainable solutions remain hard to scale.

Nanoshroom addresses this by developing mushroom-based packaging. Our solution equips decentralised production, powered by biotechnology. This enables us to build global partnerships and engage local paper manufacturers and human resource.

We’ve developed a functional prototype that holds up to 200 grams of grains, demonstrating both strength and feasibility. By connecting global networks with local systems, we aim to deliver a scalable, circular solution that challenges the status quo of conventional packaging.
