Long description

The LightHouse Project transforms plastic waste into solar-powered community energy hubs for underserved and off-grid communities across Africa. Each station is built using 500kg of recycled plastic, providing clean energy access for 3,000+ people, reducing energy costs by 80%, and replacing toxic kerosene and diesel. More than just infrastructure, LightHouse is a youth-led, community-owned circular solution—co-designed and assembled by locals in under a week. We’ve already impacted 30,000+ lives and recycled 20,000+ kg of plastic waste, proving this model is scalable, inclusive, and regenerative. Our circular design tackles two crises—waste pollution and energy poverty—in one solution.
