Long description

What if cutting-edge industrial innovations could harmoniously integrate with the environment rather than disrupt it? Carbyon focuses on developing cutting-edge direct air capture (DAC) technology. Innovative and fast, Carbyon’s system rapidly captures and releases CO₂ with high efficiency and reduced energy consumption. The captured CO₂ can be reused to create sustainable materials and fuels. As a designer, I contribute to this effort by ensuring that the integration of this technology is done thoughtfully and in conjunction with its environment. My role is to bridge the gap between industrial innovation and design, creating solutions that are both efficient and aesthetically & environmentally mindful. Carbyon aims to scale up production to 50,000 machines annually by 2032 and reach gigaton-scale CO₂ removal by 2050. This groundbreaking approach provides a scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solution to tackle climate change, directly contributing to a circular and regenerative future.
