Hamilton Perkins Collection, depolymerizing and bio converting mixed waste plastic to produce next-generation materials for Fortune 500 companies.

Long description

Hamilton Perkins Collection transforms corporate recycled materials into award-winning, next-generation materials for the circular economy. Our innovative and revolutionary chemical process upcycles traditional plastic, polyvinylchloride (PVC), from customers in the textile industry into biodegradable biopolymers and polymers, replacing petroleum-based plastic alternatives in textiles and packaging. Globally, the world produces over 50M tons of PVC yearly, third most after polyethylene and polypropylene. Unfortunately, the tremendous potential in upcycling and efficiently recycling it throughout its lifecycle remains largely untapped. This is where Hamilton Perkins can provide a profitable and globally sustainable pathway. With $1.4 million in revenue generated from over 50,000 products sold to 20 Fortune 500 companies, HPC is led by a team of polymer scientists and is supported by industry leaders, including Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Foundation, Better Ventures, Techstars, Pharrell Williams, Draper Family Foundation, LabStart and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator.
