Long description

Cultivated is a storytelling platform and design initiative that reconnects people to place through site-specific, sensory, and socially engaged art. With a masterclass-style membership model, it offers seasonal programming, resources, and conversations that deepen collective environmental and cultural knowledge. Rooted in bioregional knowledge and multi-species thinking, we work with artists, communities, and ecologists to translate research into public installations and digital archives. Our projects cultivate environmental literacy and cultural continuity through participatory practices. By bridging disciplines and inviting people into moments of collective care, Cultivated aims to shift perceptions of nature from a backdrop to a co-author. As a feminist and ecological initiative, we support regenerative relationships and inclusive systems of knowing — especially frontline communities and cultural stewards whose knowledge is vital but often overlooked, and those whose lived experiences of migration, displacement, and land stewardship offer insight into more just and regenerative futures.
