Our project is a gamified digital solution helping Gen Z and Alpha to improve their ability to detect climate misinformation and disinformation while increasing environmental awareness, resilience, and mental well-being. Unlike existing text-based solutions, it uses game design knowledge, co-design and behavioural science for learning.
By immersing users in real-world scenarios, the game develops critical thinking, fact-checking, and responsible digital citizenship. Beyond digital creation, it aligns with inclusive health due to its focus on mental well-being, and with learning climate, ensuring a holistic educational experience. Aligning with Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 13 (Climate Action), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), our solution seeks to offer a structured evaluation framework, creating a scalable, global tool for climate literacy, digital resilience, and youth empowerment against climate misinformation and disinformation.
