NIKIN’s circular clothing system is built around naNea, the first and only Cradle to Cradle Gold-certified synthetic material, and the only material worldwide with a Platinum rating in material health. We first introduced a circular T-shirt, allowing free returns for recycling, but no one sent them back. We realized we needed to do more and created “Circular Cashback”, assigning real value to materials. Even if a T-shirt is damaged while hiking, we buy it back. To encourage longer use, we pay more the longer it’s worn—up to 25% of the original price. This ensures materials stay in the loop while promoting responsible consumption. Instead of waste, every returned item fuels new production, making circularity truly work.
