Long description

Andao Company is a Malagasy social enterprise turning plastic waste into durable, functional furniture through a 100% local, circular process. From collection to transformation, everything happens in Madagascar — creating jobs, reducing pollution and giving waste a new life. Our flagship products, such as school desks and preschool chairs, are made entirely from recycled plastic and meet ergonomic standards. With over 20 524 kg of plastic already transformed and more than 10,000 students reached, we are proving that circular design can tackle both environmental and social challenges. Our vision is to expand this model nationwide by partnering with schools, companies and communities to scale our impact. More than just furniture, we design opportunities — for learning, for dignity, for change. Andao means “let’s go” in Malagasy. So let’s go — towards a future where waste becomes value, and every child sits on a story of sustainability.
